Maggie is a doctoral student on the clinical SLP track in the Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences. She is mentored by Dr. Carol Mesa in the Bilingual Language Lab for Social Success (BLISS). Maggie comes to Bloomington from Wisconsin, where she earned her B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a double major in Spanish and Communication Sciences and Disorders. Her research interests include phonological pattern development, language-based education methods, and fluency development in Spanish-English bilinguals. Outside of work and school, she enjoys knitting and spending time with her dog.
